Returning to Spain matters as much as leaving. In recent years we have seen return moves grow from Germany, France, Belgium, Italy and the UK. The process is similar, but logistics change: collection abroad, delivery in Spain and plenty of administrative and emotional paperwork.
Plan the date
If you have a rental contract abroad, coordinate departure with handing over the keys. If your Spanish home is not ready, storage bridges the gap. On long routes, book 3–4 weeks ahead.
Collection abroad
We collect at the address, by appointment, and seal the inventory in front of you or your representative. If you cannot be there, we prepare an authorisation. In buildings with small lifts or no parking, tell us in advance and book a loading zone.
Documents to enter Spain
From the EU there is no customs for household goods. Carry ID or passport, inventory and invoices for valuables. From outside the EU, procedures change and transfer-of-residence relief must be prepared. We inform you before loading.
Indicative prices
The return price is similar to the outbound price for the same distance. For 15–25 m³ from Germany, the range including VAT is €2,600–5,200; from Portugal, €690–1,600. Use the calculator with your origin city.
What to do with furniture
- Sell or donate what will not fit your new home.
- Store temporarily what you cannot place yet.
- Protect memories and documents in labelled boxes.
- Take declared-value insurance for valuables.
