Documents are the part that worries people most and the one that is least explained. Here is the practical checklist for a move from Spain to Europe.

Within the European Union

There is no customs clearance for personal goods. Carry your ID or passport, the detailed inventory and the signed contract or quote. If you travel with minors or pets, add the specific documents.

Andorra, Switzerland, the UK or Norway

Outside the EU there may be customs control and transfer-of-residence relief. Prepare the forms before departure and check residency and prior-use requirements.

The inventory is your best proof

A signed inventory sealed in front of the client protects both parties. It should list furniture, boxes, valuables and general condition. Take photos before loading.

What we ask for

The holder's ID, NIE or passport, the inventory and invoices for special items. We tell you in advance what each border requires.
